The New House

A part of our garden
Yesterday I've spent the first night in our new two-storeyed house in the Netherlands. It was so crazy. I mean: Image you're a small girl from a small city living in a small apartement. Then you move to a big metrapolis called The Hague and live in such a big house... Crazy - but also so beautiful.
At the ground-floor there's the living room and the kitchen. Upstairs you find my parents' room, a guestroom, a workroom, a bathroom and my bedroom (we bought my bed yesterday).
The last floor is our loft, as I call it: My chiller-lounge. I love this room because it's so big but you feel homey. I'm going to create it in the american style, I guess.
This is the room where I slept the night. It was wonderful. In the morning I woke up and went to the little window. I opened it and listened to the tweet of the birds. In the little river in front of our house I could see the swans swimming. Well, from this level you're able to see nearly the whole neighbourhood! I sat on the balcony about half an hour...
The house is just so appealing and bright. I kind of fell in love with it.
All in all I think I can seriously get lucky there. My new home... I can't believe it so far.
It's too bad that I can't see the house when it's finished with all the furniture at the end of January because I'll be already in the USA. Only about 8 weeks left... Time flies!
