Mole-Day

Minnie Mouse Mole(mine), Homeless Mole, Ninja Mole, Baby Mole :D

Today was probably one of the most awesome days since I'm here. It was totally amazing. We didn't do hard work in any class and the celebration of "Mole Day" in chemistry was hilarious.
October 23 is usually called Mole Day. It is an informal holiday in honour of the unit among chemists in North America. The date is derived from Avogadro's number, which is approximately 6.022×1023. It officially starts at 6:02 A.M. and ends at 6:02 P.M.
Our teacher told us that in October she can't celebrate with her class because they're never that far with the learning material. Her birthday is on 23rd of February (today!). So she always celebrates it on February 23rd. For 10 bonus points in the next test we had to make a mole with a topic.
In my chemistry class there're seven foreign students (two germans, two danishs, one mexican, one korean, one french) and only one american so that everybody had to bring something special to eat from their country (I brought Bratwurst and Haribo) :D
Moreover she told us a few mole-jokes (most of them have been terrible) like: What is the favourite kind of music of moles? - Rock 'N Moll. Or: What politics do moles have? - Molarchy.
Yeah, I know. They're bad... :D
And we played a game in which we had to stick a sheet of paper which was cut like a nose onto a mole's face which was drawn on the board. We had a scarf around our eyes.
Christian (the other german) was funny. He ran right into the printer and said: "Oh my goodness? I am at the overhead projector! When did I get here?!" It was just cool.
It was a great day. And I've got a new favourite sweet - Starburst! :D
This was so good! My maths teacher had one and was asking around "Who wants to have it?" And everybody was freaking out about it. I went like "What is it?". Then everybody agreed that I gotta try it. And it was good! <3 I LOVE IT!

I'm so excited for tomorrow! Right after school I'm going to leave for a ski trip to West Virginia! I'm going there with First Baptist Church (not my church). Many of my friends are going: Cindy, Martha, Josephine, Christian and Victor. There're going to be three more german boys going to another school in Somerset. It will be amazing!
So have a great weekend! See you!
