One Year Of Tension: The Ski Trip!

This was probably the most awesome weekend of all! The ski trip was amazing! I've been riding together on a bus with Marta (Italy), Cindy (China), Christian, Timo, Nels, Hauke (ALL GERMANS!!!) and Victor (Denmark). The Foreign Corner <3
It was just hilarious. I usually skied with Marta, Cindy, Timo and Nels. We went down all the black diamonds. :D So here come the most hilarious things:

I Best Falls

The blue line... :D

1st Place: Cindy and Nels on the black slope. Nels was going down very straight with his snowboard while Cindy was driving in curves a little in front of him. Suddenly he crushed right into her. They both went about twenty meters (she was sitting on his lap. I was panicking, it looked horrible. As I looked to my left I cracked up! There was a long, blue line from Nels' jeans. Just great.

2nd Place: Cindy, Marta and the random snowboarder on another black slope. Timo, Cindy, Marta and me were going down the worst black slope: it was very steep, there were many small hills and there was more ice than snow. However, Timo and me went down very good and fast. As we were down there we were looking back we saw Cindy and Marta still being on the very top part... Marta fell twice but she was also going very slowly. Cindy fell about twenty times or so... Haha. However, Marta was down with us much earlier than Cindy was. So we waited for her. Suddenly, in the last thirty meters, Cindy just went straight! She was screaming "I can't stop!!!" She ran over Marta's skiers, Marta fell, Cindy sat down on her skiers, they didn't stop, she crushed a random snowboarder... o.O <- Timo and me...
3rd Place: Me on the blue slope. I was going very fast and I'm not really sure how it happened but suddenly I was going backwards on my back down the slope... With my had down the slope! Yeah, that's the way... Haha. Marta told me it looked very funny. I lost my skier and just thought "Uh... The sky... Interesting!!" :D

4th Place: Me again. It was at the lifts. We wanted to meet in the line, Nels was already waiting. I was turning into a line very fast. I realized it wasn't the one Nels was standing in so I tried to change it and stop - Damn! It didn't work... So I tried to stop... It didn't work either. I turned my skiers around and I realized that I would be tear down the ribbon that seperated the lines... So I just put my folded my knees and lied my back to the ground - I didn't even touch the ribbon though I was lying on the ground in the RIGHT line right now... Everybody standing around me was going like "Dear, are you okay?". And I just said "Yeah... Just wanted to dance Limbo..." :D
5th Place: Me again... We were just standing and discussing where we wanted to go next. Suddenly I lost control and fell to the ground. "Lara? You're okay?" "Yeah..." "What was that then?" "Just kidding..."

II The Red Solo Cup

The Red Solo Cup is the exchange student's song of the SKI TRIP 2012! :D
We sang it on the bus about a thousand times, haha.
It was hilarious and goes like:

III Fun Stuff
Marta and me were the first ones who were at the meeting point on friday afternoon. Suddenly the cutest, young boy came in and said: "Hey there"
Marta and me: "Hey"
Boy: "So where are you from?"
Marta: "I'm from Italy."
Me: "Germamy."
Boy: "Oh! Italy is in Germany right? Was it a town or a city?"
(We both were cracking up)
Me: "It's not. They're two seperate countries."
Marta: "Italy is to the south of Germany"
Me: "Yeah. And Germany is next to Japan"
Boy: "Oh... Okay."
Me: "Yeah and Italy is an island in the Pacific"
Boy: "Ah..."
Me: "No, it's not. I was just kidding. It's in Europe."
Boy: "I knew that!"
Marta: "Of course you did!"
Boy: "How old are you both?"
Marta: "I'm 17."
Boy: "Damn! That's too old for me! How old are you then?"
Me: "I'm 15"
Boy: "Uh, that's not too old for me.!"
O.O
Me: "Ah, yeah. How old are you then?"
Boy: "I'm 14."
Me: "Wow, you'e pretty smart for a 15-year-old boy..."
Boy: "I know. Wait! You said you're from Germany?"
Me: "Yes."
Boy: "My host brother Hauke is from Germany too. So you're like - brother and sister?"
Me: "Yeah... No." :D He was such a sweet little boy, haha.

It felt so good to finally talk german again. 5 Germans! It was awesome! We tried to speek english the whole time because of Marta and Cindy but sometimes it didn't work out and Christian said: "Hey you should simply learn german!" Marta: "Life's too short to learn german or russian...!"
On our way to the Ski Resort in West Virginia we stopped at McDonalds. I was ordering...
Woman: "What do you want to have?''
Me: "A Hamburger please."
Woman: "A normal hamburger?"
Me: "Yeah... The one without cheese..."This was emberassing... I didn't mean to say that... :D

Victor, the boy from denmark, was crazy too. He actually broke his hand this weekend... He fell badly! I mean - Badly! He was snowboarding and didn't really know how to do it. Furthermore he wore a jeans. Why? Get that:
Victor: "Damn! There's snow under my underwear!"
Lara: "Why don't you wear a bib?"
Victor: "It doesn't look cool?!"Wow... Haha. Nels told me he even tried a bib and then put it off because he thought he'd look ugly haha :D
