Florida, The Sunshine State!

For spring break last week my host family and me went to see their family in Florida. It was pretty cool. And I can tell you one thing: IT WAS HOOOOOT!

The first days we spent at a friend's house. Her name is Stephanie. And the last two days we spent at Michele's mothers house. And I realized I LOVE her mother. She's really awesome. We went to Disney, the beach, shopping, the cinema, I saw a snake and alligators and that kind of stuff. At disney I actually saw the two little boys Aiden and Conor and his parents (I knew his dad before) again. But there's one thing about the floridian people (I know that's not a word) I really have with you.

The Horror Bug.

It was night and I always have a can next to my bed in case I wake up during the night and I want to drink something. This always worked out well but this night was different. This night I was in Florida. So I got up and tried to drink some of the Fanta next to my bed. And suddenly I realized I had something in my mouth. Something big. And it was probably nasty. So I just spit out the Fanta and tried to calm down and just go to bed... So I did. When I woke up the next morning I saw what that creepy thing in my mouth has been: It was a huge bug, a roach. And it still lived (more or less, it moved) the next morning... I could've puked. Seriously. Wanna know what the floridian woman said? “Calm down, it's just a bug”. Yeah... If you ever go to Florida, be prepared for that kind of thing!
