Horse Race!

Yesterday, Michele, Whitney and me have been to a horse race at the Keeneland Race Course in Lexington. That was soooo cool! We bet on horses and won something ever single time. I bet two times and after that I had won like 25 dollars hahaha. :D Whitney and Michele won like 50 dollars! Too awesome! This is the intuition of women!

Anyways, it was really cool. I had a lot of fun. The horses had really weird names though. The horses I bet on and won were: Praise Band, Colonial Flag and Forte Dei Marmi.






People at the Kentucky Derby

And then they selled those really cute hats which are for the Kentucky Derby which is the first weekend of May. For those who don't know: The Kentucky Derby is a Grade I stakes race for three-year-old Thorouhbred horses, held annually in Louisville, Kentucky on the first Saturday in May in which only the best horses are allowed to compeet. The people dress up a lot like in the 50's when they go there. With hats and stuff. It must look soooo pretty! Next year I want to go there haha. We can't this year because you have to buy tickets about one year ahead... So Mom, Dad? We know when we can visit again! :D Anyways, I saw this one beautiful, huge hat. Price: Almost 800 Dollars!!!  But well.. Really pretty hahaha. Hope you all had a great weekend too! C ya!
