One Year Of Tension: Junior/Senior Banquet

Junior Senior was just awesome! It was on the 28th of April. First we had our party in the Public Library and then we went to Somerset Elite. It's something like a sports-fun center. My date for Junior Senior was David Stettin, another german who doesn't talk a lot in english and arrived before about two months and asked me two evenings before the prom night. But there's another story I really need to share:
One month before the actual prom Jason asked me to go with him. There's just a little problem: Bethany likes him, and I like Bethany, so there's no way I could've said yes. But after a week of Jason's persuasiveness I was about to say yes to him. But Marta told me he was texting just the same stuff he texted me to Bethany what actually made me kind of mad. So I went over to Bethany and talked to her about it and it was true. He sent her the same stuff he sent me. So what would we be going to do? We decided to go together (as friends), so Jason gets none of us. So Jason called me and asked me again and I told him I had somebody to go with now, but refused to tell him who it was. Guess what? The next day he asked Bethany. She would say: "No, I already have somebody to go with." He asked: "Who is it?" And she said: "Lara." He was ticked off. I heard him scream in the other hallway. I guess he was just mad, confused, sad, whatever. Anyways, the next morning Bethany came over to me and asked: "I'm feeling sorry for Jason... So I made a plan... What if we both go with him?" A triple date?! For real? Naa. Not for me! So I told her she can go with him. And I knew she wanted to because she really likes him. So they both went together. David asked me. And everything had a happy ending ♥ ... and a story to tell my grand children some day!

All in all I had a great evening and lots of fun. At some point during the banquet the senior class would present their wills to the juniors. That means every senior had a will for every junior which he read out loud. For me they had the cutest wills, including:
A "snowwolf" from Micheal, calmness (with Jason :D ) from Marta, a chance to dance at "Dancing with the Stars" from David, better dancing ability (of course sarcastic) from Jarred, a frog from Caleb, a title as the "Official Building-Competition Master at Science Olympiad" from Emily.
I forgot about the other ones, haha. Emily's wish for Jason was the BEST: "Jason, I will you... BETHANY!" Hahaha, it was hilarious!
Then Miss Melody, our school's secretary (she's an angel!) presented the wills of the junior class to the senior class. My two favourite ones are:
- Marta Civettini... will one day become the CEO and chief designer of Dolce&Gabbana and will proceed to change the name to C&G an abbreviation for Civettini&Gonzales. (because Marta and Daniel Gonzales are pretty close, and went together to Homecoming and Prom)
- Daniel Sams... will one day... ... oh, wie didn't think you were coming. (because he bought his ticket too late haha).

Another highlight of the evening was my dress... We HAVE to have straps at our dresses. So Marta comes over and goes like: "Hey you should pull your dress up a little". She pulls at the straps... AND ONE BREAKS! So I took them off and hoped nobody would recognize. But OF COURSE this is not the way it works. Of course Ms. Pierce comes over and wants me to fix it.. Marta, creative as she is, takes off one of her thousand bobby pins and clips the strap to me dress.. It worked. Not good. But it worked! It was funny! I settled it in breaking her pants (accidentaly) later at the After-Party because she got me hers since I forgot mine.

The After-Party at Somerset Elite was ... different from german parties but SO MUCH fun! It was just great! So here come a few photos:
