Softball Tournament

Everybody who was there. I love them!

Last Thursday, on May 31st, I had my very last softball game. I just have to say softball is a pretty awesome (.. and pretty dirty game) and I can only regret not having it in Europe.
Me pitching in an
earlier game (:
Saying goodbye
to Rebekah :(
I remember when I started playing, I hated it. "I hate softball! I can't catch, I can't hit, I can't even throw without hurting somebody because the ball doesn't go where I want it to go..!".
And now I love it. Usually I'm the teams' second pitcher (the heart position of the game) and I play whenever our first pitcher gets tired. When I wouldn't be pitching, I played in the outfield (most likely left outfield).
On thursday was our tournament (the most important game in the season. It's like in soccer, if you win you move on, if you don't you failed..), and since it's already summer break here many of our players haven't been there because they're being on vacation. We've only been 10 players and we need 9 to play so I had to start in the outfield. I guess I would have been pitching after the fourth inning (usually there are seven) but our team isn't very good. After the fourth inning it was 17:2 which is the mercy rule, so we lost. But that's all right since we've been the sixth place in the qualifying and they've been third place.
My favorite <3
Rachel Guffey.
Coach Alan and me :)
And even though we lost I had a great time that day! I really enjoyed this season, having so many practices and games with these awesome girls, and just having fun.
Especially the roadtrips are fun because we get to eat somewhere together <3
This roadtrip was hilarious because we started playing games, and it was just funny. I had a great time.
So after our game at "Lakeside" we went to Steakin' Shake. It's my favorite restaurant in the US! Their burgers are AWESOME! :D Rachel Guffey (a senior) and me got to choose where to go since it was our last game. It was cute.

So anyways, I'm just thankful I got to play this really american sport and kinda happy that finally I started liking it.
